Model Monday: Jason

Step out in edgy pieces with sharp tailoring for a modern rebel look. Wardrobe staples with updated cuts, such as slim chinos and cropped slacks, create a refined base for bold outerwear. A contemporary bomber jacket paired with combat boots is a punk throwback that’s all grown up. Or look to layering dark wash denim for a vintage workwear feel that can go from day to night. Stay grounded in classic Chelsea boots and Oxfords. Finish the look in the barbershop chair with a fresh cut and the right product for the perfect amount of shine.

What do you enjoy about modeling? I love modeling because it’s a way to bookmark certain parts of my life. It’s amazing to be able to reflect on how I’ve progressed and changed over time.
What do you think is the most pressing current social issue? I think the most pressing social issue is student loans and finding jobs after college. The economy right now just isn’t ideal for finding fulfilling jobs that can compensate the costs of college tuition and loans. It’s definitely something that I see not only plaguing my peers, but any person that wants to get a higher education.
Guilty pleasure? Mexican food
Favorite article of clothing/accessory? My Calvins
Place you would want to visit? Spain
What are you currently obsessed with? Working out as much as possible, not only to look good, but to feel good about myself.
What is your “guiding philosophy” for life? As I’ve gotten older, I’ve learned that you really can’t make everyone happy. You know, between castings and work, I can’t always please everyone, even if I try my best. It can be discouraging at times, but I always try to keep a positive attitude. I know that as long as I am happy with myself, then that’s all that really matters at the end of the day.
