Inspired by whimsical children’s stories like The Secret Garden and Mary Poppins, in juxtaposition to darker themes from adult fantasy stories like A Clockwork Orange and Flowers in the Attic, this shoot is designed to invoke beauty, sadness, romance, and mystery—just like life. This Model Monday shows a behind-the-scenes look at an editorial shoot set to go to print in Issue 8.1 Sight & Sound.

What do you enjoy about modeling? I love being able to be someone else for a couple hours. When I’m modeling, I feel like a different person, but in the best way possible.
What do you think is the most pressing current social issue? Racial and sexist biases are prevalent in every facet of society, from politics to the music industry. Latino women in the United States earn the least amount of money per year on average. We need to stop overlooking racial and gender groups and start giving everyone an equal chance to succeed.
