Despite the growing number of houses and businesses in Morgan Hill, it still feels like a small farming town where people know and look out for their neighbors. The city has a long history, stretching back before it was incorporated in 1906. Largely shaped by Spanish settlers and the gold rush, agriculture was (and still is) the primary focus of the area. Take a drive through the beautiful hills, stop at a winery, and stroll through the charming downtown to see all that Morgan Hill has to offer.

Lion Ranch Vineyards & Winery is a true labor of love. Kim and Todd Engelhardt decided that they wanted to start a winery, so they set out to learn everything they could about the industry. In 2011, they purchased land and planted over four thousand grape vines with their own hands. The winery was opened for onsite tasting in 2015. Their goal is to create delicious wine in a way that is responsible and sustainable—without the use of any harsh chemicals.
