This solo exhibition by artist Rachel Tirosh features new mixed media abstract paintings and a new collection of polymer clay functional art. There will be an opening reception on April 7th from 5pm-8pm.  Rachel has been working as an artist since 2005 after leaving the high tech industry. Her work is defined by its rich texture and the use of a simple color scheme. With pigment, water, and glue she accentuates the texture on the canvas. Her specialty is using everyday materials and transform them into 3D textures. The results are abstract, non-representational, mixed-media art. Rachel has also been working with polymer clay to create colorful functional art. She has been featured in various shows in the Bay Area and her work is in several private collections. [less-]
