Beer LAB

Spend an evening under the stars with Content Magazine on The Tech’s private rooftop patio on September 29th from 7:00–9:30pm at Beer LAB. Taste exclusive craft brews from select local breweries, including last year’s Geektoberfest Golden Beaker winner, Half Moon Bay Brewing Company. Brewers will teach the science behind the suds and how the various styles and flavors are created. Also, learn the art of pairing beer with food—a craft that is not as well known, but is quickly rising in prominence in the food and beverage industry.

The night includes a variety of food pairings by Organicopia and specialty beer tastings available only to Beer LAB guests, a live musical performance by Chris Reed, and beautiful views of downtown San Jose.

Following the Beer LAB, event guests will be invited to take part in all the festivities of Geektoberfest, a partnership between The Tech and BioCurious, in The Tech’s galleries. Guests will have a chance to continue sampling beers from fifteen other local craft breweries, to take part in demos, and to talk with expert craft brewers. Don’t miss this special 21+ edition of The Tech’s Creative Collisions, an evening series sponsored by the Swanson Family.

The Content LAB series inspires, creates, and connects the creative community.
